The Pogi board is constructed from Western Red Cedar, White Poplar, Spalted Hackberry and Bloodwood. It is the unholy bastard hybrid of a Wooden Hollow Core Paipo and a Boogie Board. The board is little heavier than my usual paipo, but I included the Hackberry and Bloodwood which are hardwoods to add strength and durability in key spots. Future versions of this style board will not have these added additions. I am also experimenting with a new leash cup that has a built in breather to release pressure from within the board when it heats up in the sun.
